Dr. Andrea Tahmooressi focuses on helping her patients optimize their quality of life and enhance overall performance.  Whether it’s on the golf course, in the classroom, at work or training for a race, Dr. Andrea Tahmooressi ensures that the body is functioning optimally by minimizing pain, improving mobility and preventing injury.  She embodies the mindset of putting patients first by working to empower and enable them to live healthy active lives.

Dr. Andrea Tahmooressi is originally from Weston, Florida.  She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and then went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida.  While there she received a Graston Technique certification, ART certification and was awarded a Leadership Achievement award.  In June of 2013 she was blessed with the opportunity to serve the people of Savu Savu and Labasa, Fiji on a two week chiropractic mission trip.  The experience forever changed her outlook on patient care and the power of chiropractic.

Dr. Andrea Tahmooressi is a certified Active Release Techniques® provider and is currently the only woman in the Asheville area to hold that certification.  Dr. Andrea Tahmooressi utilizes Active Release Technique as well as Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization to treat various soft tissue injuries and overuse syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder pain, tennis elbow, knee problems, TMJ dysfunction, sciatica, shin splints, headaches and plantar fasciitis to name a few. Treatments are tailored to meet the patient's condition and injury. Benefits include increasing range of motion, decreasing pain, relaxing muscles, and increasing function.

She is an active member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association and International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.  Dr. Andrea obtained her Graston Technique certification during her time at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Since graduation she has continued her studies in treating expectant mothers by becoming Webster Technique Certified through the ICPA and goes once a year to take a 3 day recertification course in Active Release Technique. She is currently the only provider in Hendersonville, NC to be full body certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and in the Elite Provider Network.

In her free time you can often find her spending time on the Blue Ridge Parkway, mountain biking, fishing, competing in Spartan mud runs and sweating at CrossFit.

Dr. Andrea focuses on improving health by pinpointing the cause of symptoms/dysfunction in the body rather than masking them.  Dr. Andrea uses a whole body approach and does not just treat the spine, but also restores movement to the extremities (shoulders, hands, elbows, knees and feet) to ensure that the body is functioning maximally.  Dr. Andrea concentrates on improving immune system function, decreasing prenatal discomfort, improving sleep, reducing allergies, eliminating aches/pains, and improving overall wellness.

Dr. Andrea Tahmooressi is passionate about chiropractic and is honored to be a part of the health movement in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
