Dr. Andrea Rathbone is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life, move better, and perform at their highest potential through personalized chiropractic care in Hendersonville, NC. Whether patients are training for a race, spending long hours at work, competing on the golf course, or managing the physical demands of everyday life, her goal is to help the body function at its best by reducing pain, improving mobility, and preventing future injury. At Grace Chiropractic, Dr. Rathbone believes in putting patients first through movement-focused, whole-body chiropractic care that empowers individuals and families throughout Hendersonville, Asheville, Fletcher, Arden, Laurel Park, Mills River and Western North Carolina to live healthy, active lives.
Originally from Weston, Florida, Dr. Rathbone earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University before pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. During her time at Palmer College of Chiropractic, she received advanced certifications in Graston Technique, Active Release Technique® (ART®) and was honored with the Leadership Achievement Award for her dedication to service, leadership, and patient-centered care.
In June of 2013, she was blessed with the opportunity to serve the people of Savu Savu and Labasa, Fiji on a two week chiropractic mission trip. The experience forever changed her outlook on patient care and the power of chiropractic.
Dr. Andrea Rathbone commonly works with patients experiencing neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, headaches, vertigo, TMJ disfunction, and mobility restrictions. Her treatment approach is designed to improve range of motion, decrease pain and muscle tension, restore function, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy most with greater comfort and confidence.
Since graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Rathbone has continued to expand her education through advanced training focused on prenatal chiropractic care, movement assessment, and whole-body wellness. She is Webster Technique Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), allowing her to provide specialized chiropractic care for pregnant women and expectant mothers throughout Hendersonville and Asheville. She is also certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Level 1, a comprehensive system used to identify movement dysfunction, mobility limitations, and underlying causes of pain throughout the body.
Outside of the office, Dr. Rathbone enjoys spending time outdoors and embracing the active lifestyle she encourages for her patients. She loves hiking, paddle boarding, fishing, hunting, and exploring the mountains of Western North Carolina with her husband, Ken, and their dogs, Remi and Gunner.
Dr. Rathbone takes a comprehensive, whole-body approach to chiropractic care by focusing on the underlying cause of pain and movement dysfunction instead of simply treating symptoms. Her care extends beyond the spine to improve mobility, stability, and function throughout the entire body, including the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and feet. Through a combination of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, functional movement assessment, and personalized treatment plans, she helps patients reduce pain, restore movement, recover from injuries, and continue living active, healthy lifestyles.
Dr. Andrea Rathbone truly cares about helping individuals and families throughout Hendersonville, Asheville, and Western North Carolina feel their best and enjoy healthier, more active lives. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and empowered throughout their health journey. By providing compassionate, personalized chiropractic care, Dr. Rathbone strives to help each patient reach their unique wellness goals and continue doing the things they love most.
